Los Angeles Expert in Fertility Acupuncture
Dr. Beck Hoehn champions integrative fertility care in Los Angeles, seamlessly blending her deep understanding of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with modern reproductive health. As a board-certified practitioner in both acupuncture and herbal medicine, she creates tailored wellness plans that focus on achievable weekly milestones alongside her patients.
With a Master’s from Emperor’s College of Oriental Medicine and a Doctorate from the Pacific College of Health Sciences, Dr. Hoehn’s academic background is a testament to her dedication. Beyond her private practice, she lectures at local acupuncture universities and serves as a consultant to several herbal medicine companies and educational organizations, including Healthy Seminars, helping advance education and innovation in integrative fertility care. As a Fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (ABORM) and a member of the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society, she is constantly deepening her expertise to provide the highest level of patient-focused care.
Dr. Holly Swyers, L.Ac
Licensed Acupuncturist & Clinical Researcher
Dr. Holly Swyers is a licensed acupuncturist specializing in fertility, perimenopause, and restorative health. She utilizes Traditional Chinese Medicine and individualized care to help patients manage stress, improve sleep, and restore hormonal balance. Dr. Swyers is currently completing her FABORM certification to further advance her specialized training in reproductive medicine.
Dr. Swyers holds a dual undergraduate degree in Biology and Philosophy from UC San Diego, bringing a strong scientific foundation to her clinical work. Her background in clinical research, specifically regarding the brain-gut axis, led her to pursue the hands-on, integrative approach of Chinese medicine. With over eight years of experience in private practice, she now collaborates with Dr. Hoehn at Mighty River Wellness to deliver thoughtful, evidence-informed care. Outside the clinic, Holly is an avid hiker and runner who enjoys reading, playing piano, and cooking for her family.
Dr. Kristiina Visbal
Licensed Acupuncturist & Clinical Researcher
Dr. Kristiina Visbal is a California Licensed Acupuncturist and Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine dedicated to supporting individuals and couples through every stage of their fertility journey. She combines the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine with evidence-informed, integrative care, creating personalized treatment plans using acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, nutrition, and lifestyle medicine to support natural conception, IVF, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and overall reproductive health.
Dr. Visbal earned her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science after completing her bachelor's degree in Psychology at the University of Colorado Boulder. During her clinical training at UC San Diego Health, she cared for patients across fertility, labor and delivery, postpartum care, oncology, pain management, autoimmune and digestive medicine. She also completed advanced clinical training within UC San Diego Health's SLIM Program, collaborating with physicians to develop personalized Chinese herbal medicine treatment plans for patients with hormonal imbalances, postpartum health concerns, metabolic conditions, and weight-related disorders. This experience further strengthened her understanding of the complex relationship between hormones, metabolism, and fertility.
Dr. Visbal is currently completing her Fellowship of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (FABORM) certification to further advance her specialized training in reproductive medicine. She is passionate about providing compassionate, individualized care that empowers patients throughout every stage of their reproductive journey.
